Template hub

Has anyone had any success with the hub functionality (definehub etc)? Nothing seems to happen when I try to define the hub adress, it simply seems to ignore it.

I have not worked with this for a very long time, so I can't easily say what's wrong. However, there is a fork of this project called the template hub, maybe you should consider that instead of the connector. See http://templatehub.codeplex.com/. Note: The template hub is not yet "official", and I am not sure how stable it is.

Yeah, actually I've tried that one as well, with basically the same problem, so the problem might just be the way I do it if nobody else are having issues. I just can't figure out what the issue could be. I'm pretty new to SharePoint, but I know my ways around it fairly well by now, but there could be something that I'm just missing.

Maybe the version I uploaded has hard coded the same site collection (self) as template hub. A stupid thing to do, but would make it easy to test. This comment on my blog points in this direction: http://devramblings.wordpress.com/2011/07/11/introducing-the-template-library-connector-for-sharepoint-2010/#comment-89

If you are a developer, I suggest you download the source code and have a look. It's not many lines of code.
